3rd International Symposium on Insects (ISoI 2018)

The 3rd International Symposium on Insects (ISoI) will be held at the Bayview Hotel in Langkawi, Kedah on March 19-21, 2018. The Symposium is organized by the Malaysian Entomological Society (ENTOMA) and the Centre for Insect Systematics (CIS).

Insects: Insects: Beyond Expectation is the Symposium’s theme.

Prof. Dr. Bae of Korean University gave the keynote address, which was titled Integrated mosquito management (IMM) using a digital mosquito monitoring system (DMS) with Korean and Thai practices.
Discussion and Signing of MoU between the Entomological Society of Malaysia (ENTOMA) and The Entomological Society of Korea at ISOI 2018
On March 20, 2018, during the International Symposium on Insects (ISOI 2018), a significant ceremony unfolded. The president of ENTOMA, Dr. Muzamil Mustafa, and the President of the Entomological Society of Korea, Professor Dr. Yeon Jae BAE, came together to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This historic event marked a collaborative commitment to knowledge and expertise sharing, particularly within the realm of entomology.
